BIOGRAPHY

I've loved art since childhood, and tried many Medias and many techniques but pencil and acrylics are the media I like to use the most. Abstract and expressionism are my favorite painting technique, and I like to draw or paint southwestern theme. Right now I seem to be leaning to do more ink work in style of sumi-e ( Japanese brush painting ), I'm enjoying that process. I did graphic design for twenty years and sometimes I have a tendency to illustrate instead of expressing myself through my art, that’s why I really enjoy Abstract. Abstract really allows me the freedom to just express my mood through my art. I think that next I'm going to go big, make large paintings and drawings; I’m probably even going to do some murals.
