I grew up with a lot of freedom in Grand Rapids, Michigan. All of my grandparents were immigrants, so I grew up with an outsider's eyes, thinking things over and coming to my own conclusions. With extended family in Detroit and Chicago, I was lucky to spend hours and hours in two excellent Art Museums, which pretty much sealed my fate! I'm interested in making Art about Life. Paying attention to experience has its own rewards, providing endless ideas for new Art.
