200 Years of Poe
Inspired by Poe’s 200th year birthday anniversary. A raven lies with poppies in the foreground and faded in the background is a portrait of Edgar Allen Poe. Some of my favorite phrases/quotes of the great writer are mirror-written on cloth and sewn into the canvas in the upper left corner. This was the first painting that I created in this “pieced-together” style.
