This piece was done using charcoal and gesso, and is my interpretation of the cycle of life through the juxtaposition of imagery of birth and death. Birth, life, and death are all beautifully interconnected, for one obviously cannot occur without the other. Each is a precious gift, and a great teacher if you allow yourself to learn from the experiences they present. It is important for all of humanity to be able to embrace life as the roller coaster it is, and realize how precious and significant each moment and experience is. Through this piece, I have hoped to create a glimpse of the interconnectivity I see within life and death, as well as present to you life as the fragile beauty it is.
