My grandpa peacefully passed away November 13, 2007 at the age of 93 - he had a passion for science, philosophy, literature, humanity and the environment. At age 20 he was an electrochemical engineer / executive from Dow Chemical. He grew up on a prune ranch in Santa Clara in the heart of what is now Silicon Valley.
