BIOGRAPHY

I am a self taught artist, painting over 20 years. My works are of no particular style. Some have said that I have a broad art range. All of my artwork seems to be a part of me that are a continuation of what I am feeling and what I constructively learn each time I paint. I am such an emotional painter... I adore painting with every fiber of my being; I know it is not coincidence that I feel this way. This is how I am supposed to feel. These feelings did not evolve overnight but, were always within me. I “need” to paint. Some people write, some people sing, some people garden, some cook, & some people create art. I do all of those as well but I am most happiest when I create art. My paintings are like a journal or reflection into my life experiences and the world around me. It is true art can be taught, but some things can not be taught. An artist has to learn to live and express themselves from within & my art is my own journey of spirituality and freedom. Even if at times I do not feel free. If nothing else art has taught me that I am not as solitary as I think I am.
