BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in a small eastern province in an even smaller hamlet before moving to the "big city" in 2000. While life was often remote in rural Prince Edward Island, it afforded certain advantages such as schooling under such artists as Maurice Bernard, my mother, and P. Wilson who summered next door. As an artist I wear my temperamental heart more-so on my face and hands than on my sleeve. Battles with personal loss and reveling in joy seem to resonate within anything I put my creative talent towards. I favour watercolours as a medium but also work in oils and acrylics as well as dabbling in stained glass, woodworking, sculpture, and paper arts. Please keep checking back as there will be new work on here pretty consistently as I brush the dust off my pile of canvas and dig in for another long dark Canadian winter. All work unless other-wise stated is unframed and can be shipped off stretchers in the case of canvas by request.
