BIOGRAPHY

Welcome. My name is Raymond and I'm a self taught oil painter and photographer living on the Jersey shore. I have a great love of nature and strive to capture it in my artwork. I joined Rtist in May of 2010 and truly appreciate this great forum for displaying one's artwork and interacting with art lovers from all over the country. I primarily work in oils on stretched canvas.I would consider my art a necessary passion more than a hobby.Whatever free time I have, I devote to painting. I also am an avid photographer and often find that the two mediums harmoniously balance in my work. I am currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online. Original oils are available for purchase.
