BIOGRAPHY

Watercolor Artist, Melanie Elliott, a native of Nova Scotia, Canada (eastern coast - north of Maine. US) and a member of a family of exceptional artists. In 1993 Ms. Elliott, a former health-care professional, honored her life-long ambition to develop her artistic gifts. Leaving a twenty-three year career in Canada's westcoast city of Vancouver behind, she began her journey. Today, a resident of Nova Scotia, Melanie effectively exercises her unique talents and passionately captures images of nature and other landscapes in watercolour. Her enduring style, delicate transparencies and lively atmospherics evoke an awareness to the sensitive balance in nature and environment.
