BIOGRAPHY

Guided by a close personal connection with her family, Lauren Gould makes paintings, prints, drawings, and artist books dealing with the theme of family and the expression of memories. Moments are captured by the artist by camera and translated with special attention to specific colors, objects, environments, and/or individuals. These images are both deeply personal to the artist as well as being beautiful and universal to her audience.
