BIOGRAPHY

Inge Behrens was born in Bremen, Germany in 1942. At an early age she showed great promise as an artist. She received a classical European education followed by a dress and tailoring apprenticeship, earning a degree in fashion design. Although her strength and main interest lies in drawing and painting, she has a broad knowledge of a variety of artistic mediums. She has explored and has a working understanding of the techniques of linoleum cutting, wood cuts, and zinc copper plate etchings and stained glass. To date she has opened her own art studio, "Inge Behrens – Fine Arts Studio".
