BIOGRAPHY

PAINTER.SCULPTOR -EILEEN, has basically focused on Equines and Canines as the subjects for her art. Born in the heart of Virginia Horse Country and being of Native American heritage, Eileen's passion for animals (especially horses), comes naturally. At the tender age of three, she was helping her father break yearlings, and for more than 15 years pursued the dual careers of horse trainer and commissioned artist. Her oil paintings now hang from coast to coast. Her first major exhibit took place at The Washington Gallery Of Art (D. C.), where she displayed her pen & ink drawings,all of which sold out. In the mid 80's Eileens' desire to sculpt led her to discover yet another talent. Took second place in her first juried show in Ocean city, NJ., was featured artist at Commissioned Works Gallery in Middleburg, VA., and has sold her sculptures mainly to private collectors.Since moving to Colorado and expanding her medium to include wood and stone, she has exhibited her works at Artworks Colorado Gallery in Redstone,CO. and Cherokees of Manitou Gallery, Manitou Springs,CO * Portion of proceeds from sales will go to animal rescue orgs. * Commissions are encouraged & always welcome
